This ABC Radio National’s Big Ideas program, hosted by Paul Barclay was presented by the Alastair Swayn Foundation and the Australian Institute of Architects, ACT Chapter. Hear Ric Thorp AM, New Parliament House Architect of Mitchell Giurgola Thorp, share his untold stories about its design and construction. Along with Walkley Award winning journalist, Helen Pitt who wrote her ‘The House’ which details what went on behind the scenes in building the Opera House.
