Alastair Swayn Masters Research Grant
The Alastair Swayn Masters Research Grant (previously known as the Alastair Swayn Internship) has been established in honour of Alastair Swayn AO, who was the inaugural ACT Government Architect, and a Professorial Fellow at the University of Canberra.
Alastair was a prominent Canberra architect and founding partner of the multi-award winning architectural practice Daryl Jackson Alastair Swayn. The grant provides an annual opportunity for a Masters of Architecture student/s from the University of Canberra to undertake a research assignment aligned with the ACT Government’s Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD), Planning and Urban Policy for one semester and to gain course credits. The successful research is published by the Alastair Swayn Foundation.
