A survey of landscape, cultural and built form conditions in the City of Sydney that outlines opportunities and ways forward for a pollinator habitat corridor on Gadigal country.
This report, developed in collaboration with the University of Technology Sydney, City of Sydney, Loop Landscape Studio and research scientists, investigates how and where a habitat corridor for pollinators could be implemented in the City of Sydney local government.
The research examined corridor linking latent opportunities in existing green spaces to strengthen habitat connectivity between Sydney Park and Centennial Park. The report identifies the green space typologies within the corridor and outlines ways to increase biodiversity in each using precedent projects and an ecological approach to holistic, complex habitat restoration as a basis for recommendations on how to act with care.
